Kenrich Petrochemicals, Inc.’s (“Kenrich”) Ken-React®<\/sup> series of titanate, zirconate and aluminate organometallics provide advancement-in-the-state-of-the-art opportunities for paint, functional coatings, inks, plastisols and powder coatings that require: adhesion to non-polar substrates; pigment or filler dispersion; nano-particulate exfoliation; viscosity reduction; nano-phosphatization for intumescent flame retardance; flexibilization without solvents; resistance to chemical & salt spray\/long term aging & cracking\/water boil; increased reverse impact strength; elimination of orange peel; reduced VOC; tannin stain-inhibition; increased conductivity; reduced levels of conductive materials; brighter colors and OLED’s; etc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The ability of Kenrich’s organometallics to couple with all material surfaces via in situ proton coordination to bond dissimilar materials offers you greater opportunities for manufacturing new and novel coatings formulations. For example, if you are trying to adhere a 2-part epoxy to stainless steel or aluminum, a small amount of titanate or zirconate will enhance adhesion significantly. Often superior to silanes, since surface hydroxyls are necessary for silane condensation coupling and surface hydroxyls are not needed with Ken-React®<\/sup> organometallics.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
